Two Disappointments

After watching the finale of both reality shows recently, I get disappointed because my idols (Danny Gokey frm American Idol and Allison Havard frm ANTM ) didn't win the competitions.
They are really outstanding but we need to accept the fact that there will be a winner and loser in the competition. In brief, I'm catching up the ANTM cycle 12 since April and this time Trya Bank is really biased because she wants a black skin model to win this cycle (arithmetic comes to play if u notice). The black winners are :
cycle 3: Eva Pigford
cycle 6: Danielle Evans
cycle 9: Saleisha Stowers
cycle 12: Teyona Anderson

On the other hand, Allison's pictures are really beautiful and stunning every single week. She is constantly received first calls frm Tyra. I think she has a bright future ahead.

The second disappointment comes when Danny Gokey failed to enter the final of AI. His voice doesnt capture my attention really but I'm attracted to his SPECTACLE so I will turn on the tv for several weeks to watch his performance (....not really...to be exact is his spectacle). I wish to have one. Am I weird?

For final showdown, Kris Allen and Adam Lambert are competing for the title last week. I get the opportunity to watch the finale. Everyone know that Adam( strong vocal, rendition....everything) deserves to win but Kris(talented in instrument) is not bad as well. I like the song entitled "No Boundaries" performed by them on that night but the lyrics is a bit strange like Simon said "....mountains....Overall, this show is good to watch. Hopefully, PAula will renew her contract.

Catching Reality Shows

These days, I'm busy catching up reality shows such as American Idol season 8(AI) and American Next Top Model cycle 12(ANTM) Now, I am getting excited as the finals of AI and ANTM draw closer. I'm a huge fan of ANTM since cycle 3 with Naima Nora emerged as winner of that cycle. Now it comes to cycle 12 with Celia, Teyone, Allison(my favourite) and Aminat still in the running for the title. to be continued....

Stupid Exam Question!!!!

Today I'm having my thermodynamic paper and thinking that I am able to do very well. First two questions are easy and I continue with essay part. As I read the question, I know that the question contains errors because the lecturer took the question directly from text book. But he did modify the question in order to make the question more complicated. At the end, the answer turned out to be unlogical at all. When I asked him regarding this, he said my answer was wrong and I tried to recheck my answer but I didnt find any mistake in my calculation steps. So i asked him again and he still insisted that my answer was wrong. I started worry because I didnt want to miss any marks in this paper. So, I proceed with next question. The same thing happens again and now he left out one important info for us to do the calculation. I asked him why there is a missing value in the question and he asked me to read the question again and he tried to walk away. But this time I was smart because I asked him to read the question himself and soon he realised that he forget to put the missing value. He went to his office and almost last 5 minutes of the examination, he shown up and told us the missing value. He didnt extend the examination period and everyone was rushing to do the calculation. I had wasted my time in asking him and cant finish my last calculation. The chance of obtaining A for this subject looks very slim.

Pesta Ang Pow UPM 2009

Have you seen this before?? It is called tangram or 七巧板 in chinese. I was involved in UPM Pesta Ang Pow 2009 carnival and it was held on 14th Feb 2009. The purpose of having this carnival is to promote Chinese cultures to other races. I am sure that other local universities are also organising this event. It was my friend's idea to have this games in the carnival. Coming to UPM, I'm frequently using Mandarin to communicate with friends and now I have learnt a lot of Chinese characters too. Tangram is a one of traditional Chinese games. All you have to do is form one particular shape like cat or house by using this tangram. It seem easy to form but majority hardly form a complete shape. Only genius can do it within seconds. Are you the one?

I hope you all really enjoy seeing it. The reason why i write short entries in my blog is because of time-constrait. Coming to 2 sem, there are a lot of assignments need to be finished up and i need to do revision as the formulas and calculations getting more and more complicated.

First Try

I'm taking archery in this sem. At first, I am worried about my safety but now no more fears. In fact, I'm really enjoying this sport.

Last month, my course mates and I had reunion dinner at South City Plaza vicinity. About 8.00pm we reached the restaurant and we ordered 8 dishes( forget the name already) for that night. Later, we were busy taking photos and about 11.00pm we left the restaurant. It was my first time having reunion dinner with friends. Really enjoying it. Total RM19.00 per person and I think the price is acceptable.

What a tiring day for me?

After we went back to college, we also celebrated one of our fellow coursemates birthday at ANJUNG. We bought the cappuccino cake from South City Plaza shopping mall. The price of the cake is around RM40.00.
